Dr. Robert Anderson, fondly known as Dr. Bob by all his patients, was born in Shreveport, LA. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana State University and Tulane University Medical School. He completed one year of Orthopedic Surgery at Tulane University and went on to complete a four-year residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Anderson is a proud decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, serving primarily as a physician and director of the Emergency Department in Stuttgart Germany. For the past 15 years, he has worked as the director of the Emergency Department at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, the most active trauma center in Southwest Louisiana. Dr. Anderson has more than 25 years of experience in emergency medicine.
Although Dr. Anderson has a busy career, he says his passion is his family — his wife Rachel and his five children. He coaches his children's sports teams and loves to take his family on mission trips to Central America and Africa where he volunteers his medical skills.
